Boho Beach Studland Wedding - Aimee & Adam (Styled Shoot)

Styled shoots are so much fun! It gives wedding suppliers the chance to be super creative and plan out a vibe that they'd love to photograph that they maybe haven't before. We also have the opportunity to collaborate with one another have have an absolute ball!

Last year I was determined to try and branch out and make some new photographer friends and that's how me and Emma Winter Photography met. Whilst drinking our hot drinks during the freezing month of February we decided that how about we team together to create a styled shoot; the norm of a styled shoot is usually just the one photographer, however me and Emma both felt that our styles were quite different to one another but would also work really well. So, with that the decision was made to give it a try and see what happens, and boy am I happy we did! Straightaway we both agreed that we'd love to do a beach shoot at Studland, Dorset, both of us love the beach and honestly felt it was the perfect match for a boho theme. After Emma was able to get some friend to agree to model for us it set the ball rolling to find some suppliers who'd join us for the ride.

On the day we arrived at the Studland Village Hall which we were so kindly allowed to use at a discounted rate, our fabulous make up and hair ladies, Andrea & Lisa at Creative Artists, arrived and set up whilst our lovely bride Aimee began to get prepped and ready. During that time Adam our groom arrived and started to get dressed in his amazing suit by Charles Gale Hire and his watch supplied by Elliot Brown Watches. Whilst Andrea & Lisa were finishing the final touches of Aimee's hair and make up we took Adam outside of the village hall for some solo shots, including his buttonhole from The Bunch Club, which is also where Aimee's incredible bouquet was from.

After some solo shot of Adam, Aimee was finally ready to get in her first stunning dress from the wonderful Sarah Jane Bridal, that was then topped off by her beautiful floral crown from Luna & Wild. It was then time for us to set off down to the beach.

We had an absolute ball all together capturing some amazing shots of our gorgeous couple. We were also super fortunate with the weather and got some stunning lighting. Without a doubt I think Emma & I chose so well with all of our wonderful suppliers as they all went above and beyond to provide the most stunning items and services, we were so grateful for them. From all of those mentioned above to Midas Prosecco which we all enjoyed a glass of at the end of the shoot.

Enjoy some of the photos below to see the magic we all created.
